Intended Purpose

The device can be used as a decentralized communication interface module for the following devices:

• S500 bus modules (e. g. DC505-FBP, CI592-CS31, CI501-PNIO, CI541-DP, CI581-CN)
• AC500 CPUs (PM5xx)
• Other AC500 I/O modules

Features:

• 16 digital inputs 24 VDC (I0 to I15) in 2 groups
• The inputs are group-wise electrically isolated from each other.
• The other electronic circuitry of the module is electrically isolated from the inputs.

Note

The I/O module must not be used as a decentralized communication interface module with DC505-FBP and CI590-CS31-HA bus modules.
