Parameterization of the CANOPEN Slave Protocol Stack

Double-click on CM588_CANopen_Slave (CM588-CANopen slave) to open the CM588 Slave editor window:

The editor provides the parameter Node-ID which can be set as follows:

Parameter Default Value Meaning
Node-ID 1 1…127 The node-ID the CANOPEN Slave Communication Module uses on acting at the network.

Tab CAN addresses provides overview of assigned I/O variables and how they are mapped to CANOPEN objects located in slave object dictionary. Find these object indexes and sub-indexes on looking at the PDO configuration of the CM588 CANOPEN Slave from a CANOPEN Master configuration point of view.

Sort this data by any column as you like.

CAN addresses tab shows read-only data only.

Further parameters are available in the editor tab CM588-CANopen Slave Configuration. Activate parameter Show generic device configuration views to get this tab visible. This setting is available in menu item Tools -> Options at Device editor.
