      • Choose both to display both the tree structure (I/O Mapping tab) and the list view (I/O mapping list tab).

Available Channel Information

The I/O mapping list displays the channel information in offline and online mode. In online mode, all columns are read-only. In offline mode, some columns are editable.

In offline mode, the following channel information is visible as columns:

  • Object Name

This column presents the node name and the path of the node from which it is launched. Example: DX522 (CI590_CS31\).

  • Variable (editable in offline mode)

  • Channel

  • Address

  • Type

  • Description (editable in offline mode)

  • Terminal

In this column, the device tag information helps you for wiring the devices. Example: DX522Tag:1:0.

  • Current Values (only visible in online mode)

The order of the devices in I/O mapping list is synchronized with the order in the device tree.

The channels of a device are ordered by the device description file. If channels have a section, the channel information is represented in a specific format. Example: Fast counter: Actual value 1. These channels are listed at last position of a device.
