Opening a Detailed Comparison View

Requirement: For example, the user has changed the code in a POU of the current project. You have now carried out the project comparison via the command Project ‣ Compare. The project comparison view displays the POU marked in red in the compared project trees.

  1. Double-click on the line of the compared POU versions.

    The comparison view switches to the detailed comparison view of the POU. The modified code lines have a gray background with red lettering.

  2. Click on eba72e761c11e0f1c0a8640e00142233_6812dfad9787311ec0a8640e005661f1 .

    Automation Builder adds the modified line on the left as a new line and displays it on the right as deleted.

  3. Click on eba72e761c11e0f1c0a8640e00142233_6812dfad9787311ec0a8640e005661f1 again.

    The previous display appears again.

  4. Place the mouse pointer in the modified code line and click on eba72e761c11e0f1c0a8640e00142233_5403665b928694d7c0a8640e011e3988 Accept Single.

    Automation Builder adopts the version of the code line from the reference project into the current project.

  5. Click on eba72e761c11e0f1c0a8640e00142233_5f12c3fa978644b7c0a8640e019d32d0 and answer the query whether the changes made are to be saved with Yes.
