CM572-DP and CM592-DP

As of Automation Builder 1.2, Hilscher will discontinue the support of the current PROFIBUS® Communication Module CM572-DP.

In Automation Builder, you can update CM572-DP to CM592-DP. Automation Builder will preserve the protocol specific configuration after device update.

Alternatively, you can copy the existing PROFIBUS® protocol configuration to any new PROFIBUS® device, e.g. from CM572-DP to CM592-DP or vice versa. Also the CM592-DP module of the AC31-Adapter is supported.

Move, Copy, Paste

Update CM572-DP to CM592-DP

  1. Right-click on CM572_DP (CM572-DP) and select Update object.

  2. In the Update object dialog, select CM592-DP.

Copy Protocol Configuration from CM572-DP to CM592-DP

  1. Copy the protocol configuration of CM572-DP.
