Intended Purpose

The Digital Input/Output Module DX571 can be used as a remote expansion module at the following devices:

• S500 Bus Modules (e. g. CI592-CS31, CI501-PNIO, CI541-DP, CI581-CN)
• AC500 CPUs (PM5xx)

It contains the following features:

• 8 digital inputs 24 V DC (I0 to I7) in 1 group
• 8 digital normally open relay outputs (O0 to O7) in 2 groups

The inputs and outputs aregroup-wise electrically isolated from each other.

The other electronic circuitry of the module is electrically isolated from the inputs.
