Intended Purpose

The Digital Input Module DI562 can be used as a remote expansion module at the following devices:

• S500 Bus Modules (e. g. CI592-CS31, CI501-PNIO, CI541-DP, CI581-CN)
• AC500 CPUs (PM5xx)

It contains the following features:

• 16 digital inputs 24 V DC (I0 to I15) in 2 groups

The inputs are group-wise electrically isolated from each other.

The other electronic circuitry of the module is electrically isolated from the inputs.
