Configuration

The first step of the configuration of EtherCAT® Sync is the configuration of the master and its slaves. This is identically to configuration in unsynchronized mode. Follow the instructions in the previous sections to create a EtherCAT® configuration. Additionally the following steps have to be done:

- Configuration of the bus cycle time

- Configuration of the master synchronization mode

- Configuration of PLC task and synchronization mode

• Configuration of the Bus Cycle Time
• Configuration of the Master Synchronisation Mode
• Configuration of PLC Task and Synchronisation Mode
