Error Messages, Warnings and Notes in Online Mode

Wrong Target

This error messages appears, if there is a mismatch between selected target in Automation Builder and the CPU hardware, e. g. CPU type is PM583-ETH and in Automation Builder project, CPU type PM573-ETH is configured.

A login to the CPU is not possible.

To avoid this error message, correct your project to the right CPU target.

Configuration not yet in PLC

Note

The following warning message will only appear with CPU firmware V2.3.0 or higher.

This warning message appears, if the current project in Automation Builder and the project located inside the PLC are different.

This warning message is also displayed in Version information tab:

To avoid this warning message, perform the following tasks:

  • Log out from the PLC
  • Re-create configuration data (via right-click on AC500 => menu item Create configuration data)
  • Download the IEC application program to the PLC via CoDeSys V2.3.x (a full download is needed)
  • Log in for Online Diagnosis again

Old Profile in Firmware

Note

The following warning message will only appear with CPU firmware V2.3.0 or higher.

This warning messages appears, if the firmware version inside the PLC is older than the version profile of Automation Builder, and therefore, the CPU’s firmware does not support all features of the current version profile of Automation Builder.

To avoid this warning message, there are the following possibilities:

  • Update the CPU’s firmware to the version which is equivalent to the Automation Builder version profile OR
  • Select a version profile in Automation Builder which is equivalent to the firmware version of your CPU.
