RAMdisk

The system RAMdisk is a volatile storage device placed in the SDRAM and used by the firmware during its operation. This storage device will also be used for PLC firmware download. Via the FTP-Server it is possible to load new firmware to the PLC. For further details refer to chapter “AC500 FTP Server”. System files must not be deleted during runtime. The PLC’s web visualization is temporarily saved here, before it is moved to the Userdisk.
