Parallel operation of different PROFINET® IO systems in one network

With PROFINET® IO it is possible to create multiple Controller-device-systems in one network. They are build from functional independent subsystems, each consisting of one controller and a part of the IO Devices in the network. The used topologies and layout of the IO Devices do not matter. There is no possibility for the controllers to exchange information.
