TA561-RTC - real-time clock adaptor

Intended Purpose

The TA561-RTC real time clock adaptor is used for equipping AC500-eCo Processor Modules with a real-time clock.

The real-time clock can be buffered via a standard lithium battery (CR2032) during power supply failures. For specification of the battery, see battery for real-time clock (AC500-eCo) CR2032 - Battery for Real-Time Clock (AC500-eCo).

Insertion and Replacement of the Adaptor

With an opened option cover, energized parts of the Processor Module could be touched.

• Always turn off and disconnect the power supply for the Processor Module before you open the option cover.
• Make sure that die option cover is closed before reconnecting the Processor Module to the power supply.
