Intended Purpose

The Digital Output Module DO524 can be used as a remote expansion module at the following devices:

• S500 Bus Modules (e. g. DC505-FBP, CI592-CS31, CI501-PNIO, CI541-DP, CI581-CN)
• AC500 CPUs (PM5xx)

It contains the following features:

• 32 digital outputs 24 V DC / 0.5 A in 4 groups (1.0…4.7) with short circuit and overload protection

The outputs are electrically isolated from the other electronic circuitry of the module. There is no potential separation between the channels.

For usage in extreme ambient conditions (e.g. wider temperature and humidity range), a special XC version of the device is available.
