Intended Purpose

The Analog Input Module AI563 can be used as a remote expansion module at the following devices:

• S500 Bus Modules (e. g. CI592-CS31, CI501-PNIO, CI541-DP, CI581-CN)
• AC500 CPUs (PM5xx)

It contains the following features:

• 4 configurable thermocouple detector (TC) inputs (I0 to I3) in 1 group

The inputs are group-wise electrically isolated from each other.

The other electronic circuitry of the module is electrically isolated from the inputs.
