CD522 with DC505-FBP

The function module CD522 can be operated with a FBP (DC505 module).

The FBP Bus Module is used as a decentralized module on several field busses. The bus connection is performed by neutral FieldBusPlug interface, which allows the connection of all existing FieldBusPlugs.

1. Add a new object to the Extension_Bus node.

2. From the list, select the appropriate Communication Module (master module) for your field bus , e.g. CM572-DP for a PROFIBUS® master module.

3. Add a new object to the Communication Module node and select the DC505-FBP module from the list.

4. Double-click the added object and configure the parameters Function Module CD522.

Depending on type of field bus used, the maximum number of CD522 Modules used with the DC505-FBP differ:
