Configuration of the IP Settings with the Display¶
Note
Configuration of the IP address via display is available as of firmware V2.0. AC500 display configuration as of AB 1.1 (>= CBP 2.4) is described under AC500 Display PM57X, PM58X, PM59X: PM57x (-y), PM58x (-y) and PM59x (-y) PM57x (-y), PM58x (-y) and PM59x (-y).
The following table gives an overview about the buttons for IP configuration:
Accessing menus, changing non-numeric parameters (e.g. Fix, DHCP) | |

Returning to 1st menu level on 1st press, returning to default screen on 2nd press | |

Note
Keeping the arrow keys pressed for a few seconds increases the rate of change.
To set the IP address, proceed as described below:
Precondition: CPU has to be in STOP mode. | ||
Press the button.

Press the button while IP-Set is displayed.

Press the / buttons to select the Communication Module slot. Only slots with Ethernet Communication Modules are shown. Acknowledge the selection with button. |

Press the button to select the IP mode (Static, DHCP *1) ). There is also the possibility to reset *1) the configuration of the Communication Module to factory defaults. | ||
Acknowledge the selection with button.

*1) For security reasons, Reset and DHCP must be acknowledged by pressing the button twice.
The following part of the instruction is only valid if the IP setting is set to Static.
Press button if Static is displayed.

Press the / buttons set the first part of the IP address. Press button to configure the next part of the IP settings. Overview about the identifiers in the display and their meaning: A1-4: xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx IP address N1-4: xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx Netmask G1-4: xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx Default Gateway

Press the button at any part of the IP configuration to acknowledge the settings.
