Intended purpose

The Analog Output Module AO523 can be used as a remote expansion module at the following devices:

• S500 Bus Modules (e. g. DC505-FBP, CI592-CS31, CI501-PNIO, CI541-DP, CI581-CN)
• AC500 CPUs (PM5xx)

It contains the following features:

• 16 configurable analog outputs (O0 to O7) in 2 groups (1.0…2.7 and 3.0…4.7)

The outputs are electrically isolated from the other electronic circuitry of the module.

For usage in extreme ambient conditions (e.g. wider temperature and humidity range), a special XC version of the device is available.
