Command ‘Open Project’

Function: This command opens the standard dialog box for opening a file. Here you can browse the file system for a CODESYS project file and open it in the development system.

File type

Selection list for filtering the type of file

  • All supported files: files in all supported formats.
  • Project files: CODESYS project files from V3, file extension “.project”
  • Project archive files: CODESYS project archives from V3, file extension “.projectarchive”
  • Library files: Library projects from V3, file extension “.library”
Open CODESYS opens the selected project file. If necessary, it is converted first.
