If you need a higher resolution for the timer operations, then you can use the corresponding timer POUs provided by standard64.library. These timer POUs use the data type LTIME (nanoseconds) instead of TIME (milliseconds). However, this also means higher computational and memory requirements (64-bit). The STRING POUs allow for working with WSTRING strings. Available POUs: LTOF, LTON, and LTP.
