‘Extras’ ‘Use IEC-Steps’

If this command is activated (denoted by a check in front of the menu item and a printed symbol in the Tool bar), then IEC step will be inserted instead of the simplified steps upon insertion of step Transition / Transition condition and Parallel branch.

If this option is switched on, the Init step is set as an IEC step when you create a new SFC POU.

These settings are saved in the file “CoDeSys.ini” and are restored when CoDeSys gets started again.
