Installation OPC Server

Here is described how the OPC server V2 and OPC server V3 (without CBP V2.3.0) are installed.

Note

Before you can start the OPC server installation, you must close all OPC clients, the ABB OPC Tunnel and the gateway (IEC 61131-3 editor gateway server) on your PC.

Check this with the Windows Task-Manager.

The processes of

• Gateway.exe
• CoDeSysOPC.exe
• WinCoDeSysOPC.exe
• OCTsvc.exe

must have disappeared.

If the processes have not been terminated:

• End the processes with the Windows Task-Manager.
• Stop the ABB OPC Tunnel Windows Component Service, Services (local).
