Command ‘Insert elements for controlling trace’

Symbol:

Function: This command opens the Trace wizard dialog box. In this dialog, you select predefined visualization elements for controlling the trace. These elements are then inserted into the visualization editor.

Call: Menu bar: Visualization; context menu of the trace element.

Requirement: The view is active and a trace element is selected.

Control variable	Corresponds to the control variables that are available in the element properties of the trace element. : The control element for this variable is created in the visualization editor.
Variable	Variable names that are assigned to the trace control variables. This list corresponds to the assignments that are defined in the element properties of the trace element. If nothing is configured in the properties of the trace element, then a pre-allocation is offered with default variable names. These default variables are declared as visualization local variables.
Type of element to insert	For a Boolean variable, this element can be inserted as a button or rectangle. For a string variable, rectangle or text field are offered.
