Parameterization

The FM502_CMS does not store configuration data itself. The digital inputs and outputs can have specific functions depending on the selected configuration mode. All not otherwise configured inputs and outputs can be used with the specification of standard input/output range.

To change the parametrization you can choose the default parametrization in Automation_Builder or the parametrization during runtime in IEC 61131-3 editor.

The functionality of the module is directly influenced by the parametrization.

Default Parameterization in Automation_Builder

For non-standard applications, it is necessary to adapt the parameters to your system configuration. After every startup of the device the default parameter set will be downloaded to the module.

The parametrization is divided in three sections:

• Parameter for encoder/counter functionality
• Parameter for analog channel functionality
• Parameter for digital I/O configuration

Parameterization during Runtime in IEC 61131-3 editor

In IEC 61131-3 editor for the parameterization you can use function blocks of FM502-CMS library CMS_IO_CFG_WRITE: CMS_IO_CFG_WRITECMS_IO_CFG_READ: CMS_IO_CFG_READ
