Command ‘Remove Online User’

Symbol:

Function: This command removes a user from the user management on the target system.

Call: Main menu Online ‣ Security.

Requirement: The application is in online mode.

Note

You can manage the online user management in the Users and Groups tab and Access control of the device editor. The commands in the Online ‣ Security menu provide another simple option for protecting access to the target device.

This command opens the same dialog box as for creating a user, where you provide the user name and password of the user to be removed.

Caution

After performing this action, you can no longer use this user account to log in. If this user is the last one on the target system, then a dialog prompt notifies you that this user cannot be removed.
