Function Block MCA_Home

The difference to the MC_Home is that the values for velocity, acceleration and deceleration can be set as inputs. The velocity is normally set by a parameter in the drive, so the input Velocity often does not influence the homing procedure. Acceleration and Deceleration are at start of the system zero as no other movement was done before. To performe a homing with defined Acceleration and Deceleration the inputs Acceleration and Decelerationcan be used.

This Function Block commands the axis to perform the «search home» sequence. The details of this sequence are manufacturer dependent and can be set by the axis’ parameters. The input Position is used to set the absolute position when reference signal is detected. The inputs Velocity, Acceleration, Deceleration are to define the homing motion start parameters. This Function Bock completes at StandStill.

Note

The Homing procedure is executed according the definition in the drive.
