TPDO Mapping in DS401 Mode

As defined by DS401 the first TPDO only contains binary inputs. The first bytes contain the onboard binary inputs of the CI581-CN / CI582-CN devices. If binary IO expansion modules are connected to the CI581-CN / CI582-CN these input data will also be put into TPDO1.

The second TPDO contains only analogue inputs (as defined by DS401). In case of CI581-CN the first four analogue inputs are the onboard AIs. If analogue IO expansion modules are connected to the CI581-CN / CI582-CN these inputs data will also be put into TPDO2.

TPDO 3 and TPDO 4 are reserved for additional analogue inputs (as defined by DS401) of connected analogue IO expansion modules.

For TPDO 5…20 there is no fixed mapping. This mapping is user defined.
