Continuous Function Chart (CFC)

The CFC editor is a graphic editor for programming objects in the ‘Continuous Function Chart’ (CFC) language. This editor is available to you in extension of the standard IEC 61131-3 languages.

As opposed to the network-based editors, the CFC editor allows you to freely position the elements. The order of execution is determined by a list of currently inserted elements. You can change the order of execution at any time.

CODESYS provides a page-oriented CFC editor in addition to the standard CFC editor. This editor offers you the same elements and commands, but you can arrange the elements on as many pages as you wish.
